Name: Raven
Last name: Hammond
Nickname: Rave
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Breed: Lycanthrope (she can change at will. I'm not quite sure which term you use for that.)
Physical Description: Raven is about 5'3 and weighs in around 97 pounds. She has olive skin and dark hair, which seems black untill you see it in the sunlight. Even in human form, her eyes are a bright golden-yelow. Her facial features are well-defined, with high cheek-bones and full lips. She is quite striking. As a wolf, she is lean with a thick black pelt and peircing yellow eyes.
Personality: Raven has a very intresting personality, bordering on being condidered a bit bi-polar. She has some issues with the oppisite sex, yet you can never tell if she'll roll over and show her belly to the guy, or if she'll try to tear out his throat. Raven has a kind of haunted soul, yet at times she's all play. Most females had better be wary of her, though, for Raven sees them as mere tools. Not to say that she's cold hearted or an uber-bitch, but she just doesn't know any better. She's feircly loyal to those she loves, but couldn't care less about anyone else.
Sexual Orientation: Raven describes herself as "mostly straight." Making out with the occasional chick doesn't bother her.
Pack: Raven's only pack-mate is Flaxen. They fled their hometown, and are looking for a new pack, either to join one or start one.
Rank: Raven shares the title of alpha with Flaxen.
History: Raven was adopted by a mortal couple early in life, and grew up in a small town. She met a blonde girl named Flaxen in fifth grade, who was also adopted by a mortal family. Flaxen quickly became her best friend, and up until high school she lived a relativly normal life even though she was slightly withdrawn, feeling like there was something missing. When Raven hit puberty, she discovered that she could change into a wolf. At first the Change came on with strong emotion, and she spent the better part of a year learning to control it - and herself. Yet Raven never considered it a curse. She relished the chance to get away from her adoptive family, and loved the scent of midnight grass. Loved the feel of the world beneath her paws. Flaxen, too, turnd out to be a werewolf, and this is when they first suspected that they were sisters. Raven found herself in love with a human boy, and was both terrified and excited by the possibility of making a life with him. However, Flaxen was the only other Were that Raven knew, and she didn't want to risk injuring her boy, so she let him go. After braking up with the boy she loved, both Raven and Flaxen spent even more time as wolves. Neither of them was really sure of where to go from here. By this time they had come to the conclusion that they were sisters - twins - seperated at birth. Not only were they both wolves, but also they enjoyed a slight psychic connection, with the ability to read each other's emotions and alway know where the other is. Then the hunters came. A radical group of psuedo-christians who were hell-bent on destroying all of "the devil's creatures." And they would not hesitate to kill any mortal who got in the way. To protect her pack-mate and the boy that she loves, Raven left town. Now she and Flaxen are wandering, looking for somewhere to call home. (just an overveiw. More of Raven's history will reveal itself as her character developes.)
