I leaned back as he kissed me. I was alittle hurt that he didn't trust me to stay with him. Whipping around I walked to the car. I opened the door and sat down with a slam of the door. I knew I was a girl but that didn't mean I couldn't help. If she already knew about us then what was the point in me hiding it. I turned and gently grabbed Lusinda, placing her in my lap as I placed my feet on the dashboard waiting for him. I sighed sadly as I stroked Lusinda feeling her vibrating purr under my hand.

I gave a heavy sigh as i heard the door slam shut, "i turned back to the girl, "so what do you want, you obviusly want to talk about something." I thought she is the one who swanted to talk so she is going to start the conversation."

i looked at this and relaxed a bit and i grabed jesses arms and wraped them aroud me. *All we got to do now is wait.*

I let him hold me and relaxed alittle.

I laughed at there show. then said "Rude mutch just because I'm small dosen't mean I'm not deadly" I said with a smile. "What I want is to tell you that its not to late to leave them and kill them now. You will be excepted as a hunter and as the marvilous hunter you were. Did you ever tell them how many shifters you have killed. Or how many were your "Friends"." I said putting parenhises around frineds makeing sure the girl in the car could hear me.

I growled as I turned my head to her. I was on the verge of getting out of the car and shredding her throat. But then I looked at Robert. He hadn't said anything. *Robert...what is she talking about?* I asked him making sure only he could hear my thoughts.

"You haven't told her Robert. Oh but let me tell you then I mean such a known exterminator for his kills. Hes killed hunders. Kids, mothers fathers girls boys you name it hes killed it" I said with a smile. "You should make sure they except your past before you work on the futur" I said and disapered in a crowed.

I gave a small laugh, you know you are right, i have killed hundreds, but to be truthful i know the exsact number 876 killes in my carreer, and yes i am only 124 kills away from retierment but that is the past to me i am looking to the future, so tell me how do you plan to kill someone of my skill you know the numbers you are asking if they are not senor exterminatores you will fail in your mission, maybe you should have mentioned that. But that is my past i am sureshe already knows that. And i dont know if i ever killed any of her friends, i do not keep track of names. But if that is what you wanted to say, then i will say this, i know the threet but i will take it they have hidden from us for years, we can do the same." and with that i walked back to the car and shut the door. i know she does not have a car so she cant follow us. i said to bryan hey lets get a move on there airhead.

i heard him say to go so i got jess to the car and i hoped in the drivers seat and i drove off with Robert right behind me. "are you ok" i said looking at jess, "we got about a houre befor we get to were we are going so, we got time to talk."

I clung onto Lusinda, not daring to look at Robert. I just sat there petting my cat. Even though I wasn't scared of Robert I had some doubts. How did I know he wasn't just going to back stab me? How did I know I wasn't just another target. I looked at him out of the corner of my eye then back to Lusinda. She just sat there in my arms purring away as I held her and pet her. I wanted to say something but no words came to me.

I saw the tense look on her face, and she was not looking at me at all, she just kept holding and petting her cat, i really cant do anything right now i am driving, so i reached over and took her hand and pulled it over to me and i kissed the back of her hand then i set it back down inbetween us still holding it and i rubed the back of her hand with my thumb. "Mia i am hear for you, no one else, i will never do anything to hurt you i promiss, i wouldent do that, you changed me to be a different man, that is my past this is the now." i looked at her for a second, then back to the road. "do you trust me Mia do you really trust me."

I looked at Robert for a second then looked at his hand that was holding mine. "I don't know what to do Robert, I want to trust you but how do I know you haven' done this before?" I looked back down at Lusinda who was happily asleep in my lap. "How do I know you haven't pulled the same stunt just to try to kill me?" I said. I was shocked, I didn't know what to do, what to think. Has he said those exact lines before? Has he pretended to like someone then kill them after gaining their love and affection? "I don't know" I whispered.

I was not shocked i knew this would happen i knew she would not truly trust me, "well hear is proff i could have killed you when you were asleep but i dident i put you in bed and tucked you in for the night. I would not be doing this if i truly did want to keep to my old ways. But tell me if that is not enough tell me what you want me to do Mia. What do i do to earn your trust.

I looked at him then. I didn't look away I just looked at him. "I can't make you say or do anything Robert, but if you have put your past behind you, let your actions speak louder than your words" I said. I leaned over and lightly kissed him on his cheek before laying my head down on the center consol on top of our entwined hands. I lightly kissed the back of his hand and then placed my cheek on it, closing my eyes and just laying there. I reached my hand out and pressed the button to turn on some music without opening my eyes. I then placed my hand under ours and tried to relax. "Choose what you want I don't care" I said without emotion. I released his fingers but didn't push his hand away, I just let it stay where it was, under my cheek on top of my hand.

My thumb was free and was under her chin so i rubed the botom of her chin with my thumb. Then making sure we were on a sraight road and leand over and gave her a kiss on the cheek. I leand back up. "i am sorry that you feel that way Mia i really do, but i know what i can do." i was still rubing her chin and hoping that was helping.

I turned my head to look at him and to have his thumb rub against my chin and neck like a cat being scratched on their chin. I looked up at him a little confused. "What can you do?" I asked as I nuzzled his arm/wrist with my cheek. Lusinda had fallen asleep and was purring happily in my lap, giving the occasional kick like she was in a good dream.

i just kept staring at the road, never in my life did i ever think i would say this, "i will have to kill my own kind to get your trust my words are not enough, i will kill them to gain your trust, to make you happy. That is what i must do."

I just looked up at him, shell shocked at what he said. "W-what?" I stammered. Would he actually do that? For someone like me? I sat up straight in my chair and looked at him. What was so special about me that he would say that? Doing a mental check I came to the conclusion of, not much.

I looked at the dashboard then back to his hand that still lay on the center consol. I sighed and lay back down on his hand but didn't close my eyes. Instead I just loked at the radio. "Why do you like me Robert? What do you see in me? I'm no different from any other Shifter girl. What's so special about me?" I asked.

I smiled slightly and rubbed my cheek against his hand. "I bet you say that to all the girls" I said. I closed my eyes and just listened to the music. It was Can't Fight the Moonlight by Leann Rimmes. *Heh fitting sorta* I thought as I began to humm to it.

I saw looked at her and could feel her relaxing a bit, i should play a little joke, it would be a little funny, litten the mood. "HOOLY SHIT THERE SHE IS AGAIN" I yeld this really loud and she sat up in a hurry. "o never mind it was just a regular girl." i held back a laugh but i could not hide the smile.

When he yelled out I snapped up straight and whipped my head around. "Where" I said shaking. Then he said it was just a regular girl. I glared at him then punched him on the arm saying "Jerk don't do that you scared the shit out of me." I saw the smile turn to a laugh and just laid back down folding my arms around his hand and placing my cheek on them. We had been driving for sometime now and it was almost past noon.

I growled playfuly then nipped at his arm. "I wasn't getting depressed I was relaxing there is a big difference" I said with a smile. I kissed his hand and closed my eyes but opened them again as I heard my stomach growl. I blushed then buried my face in my arms and his hand. How embarressing.

i looked down at her, "i guess you are hungry hu" i leaned over and nibbled on her ear, then went to her neck, and did the same then back up to the road. "well i guess i am sorry then."

I felt shivers run down me from where he nibbled me. I kept my face buried and nodded. Then I heard him say he was sorry. That bit confused me. I turned my head to peek up at him. "What are you sorry for?" I asked.
