I smiled as I nuzzled up to Robert, not opening my eyes. I knew what Jess was pulling, she just wanted him to show some affection but wanted to confuse him as well by acting mad. She was testing him. I laughed silently then wrapped an arm around Robert to get some sleep.

I just roled my eyes and kept my eyes on the road.

As Mia snuggled into me, my back went into the door more than it already was. But i shifted a little and it seemed to help. i wisperd down in Mia ear, "you know your lucky you got something nice to lay on."

I mentaly rolled my eyes and looked up at him. Moving froward a little I sat up. *Lay down* I told him. When he just looked at me I motioned for him to get comfortable. Then I let the feline take over. My hand began to turn into a tiny black paw as my joints popped and crunched to form into the tiny black cat with electric blue eyes. He finally laid down and I just curled up next to his chest, tail wrapped around me and ears flat as I closed my eyesAnd began to purr, feeling his strong arm wrap around me protectivly.

I laughed. "you have no idea how wierd it is to cuddle up with a cat to go to bed. its a little wierd. Specially when you got feelings for that cat."

I opened one eye to look at him but in cat form you can only look straight so I opened my other eye and looked up at him still puring. *Its either this or the uncomfortable position you were in* I told him. I knew he'd rather have this some how but I still asked.

I shifted into a gray cat with my gray eyes and snugled up to the chair and went to sleep.

I just blew air at him and laid back down with my back faceing him.

I took a sec and waited for a straight road. then when we got on one that was long i reached over and picked up Jess and set her in my lap. and i started to pet her. "whats wrong jess."

I purred and thought "Nothing now" and snuggled into him.

I did a purring laugh and thought "Nothing I just wanted to be held thats all" and I licked his face. "Im sorry" I thought to him.

I shook my head. "you know you could have just asked me to hold you. it would have saved time and frustration." i shook ny head again. "what am i going to do with you." and with that i started to pet her again.

I began to purr louder to show my pleasure.

i laughed a little. "i see you knew what i was talking about" i petted her one last time then said. "now get some sleep ok you need your rest."

(A few hours later after going through a few states and rotating drivers)

I looked around as I drove through the familiar roads of Kentucky, looking for the road that would take us close to where I intended us to stay. We stopped at a few stores, buying toilettries like tooth paste and a huge thing of shampoo that would last a few months, razzors for the boys and girls that would again last a few months, tampax for me and Jess(just in case) lighters and a couple of towels. We got a pair of clothes for each of us that were cheap, jugs of water, bullets (for the boys guns) flashlights and batteries, a portable radio, and a first aid kit. We didn't need to buy food because a local butcher and baker would be close to the house that I was taking us too but other than them we would have to hunt for our food, the butcher would be a last resort. I watched as the mountains slowly passed by and the clear summer air filled the skies. I rolled the window down and took a deep breath. I could smell the fresh mountain pines and local berry patches. *We're almost there* I thought.

I yawned and streached on Bryans lap and looked up at him. Then I changed into my human form and kissed him on the lips and asked when we broke apart "When did we get back here and why didn't you wake me up."

"Dident think i had to. you were sound asleep. you looked piecefull when you sleep so i did not want to wake. you. pluss you had a rough day you needed rest."
