| CREATING YOUR ROLEPLAYWhen creating a RolePlay there are some things you need to consider.
First you need to think of a plot. This is when the 5 W's take place: Who? What? When? Where? Why?
When covers the time setting. Is it in the present day? Is it in the future? Where covers he setting. Is it on another planet? In America? In the Bahamas? What covers what kind of creatures are there. Normal animals? Fantasy creatures?
Then if the plot has a main character or if you have character requirements, this typicallycovers the Who. And the Why is the motivation. Why is the villain bad? Why is are there good people? Why is this happening?
Once you've got all of those covered you can start piecing together the plot. The plot it the general idea of the story.
For Example:
For centuries, lycans and vampires have been at war with each other. They fight because their strength is all too much the same and they can't stand it. They both want to rule the humans but cannot do it while one race is alive.
Once you captured the reader's attention with a opening like that, you can make something up about anything. Who the main characters are, what the races are like. Do the werewolves turn willingly? Are the vampires afraid of sunlight? Are either of the races stupid or smart?
Then you can add whatever you may think is helpful that'll have the reader understand what's going on. For example you can expand it to explain the history of how werewolves/vampires were created. How they met and why they're fighting.
Then you can think about the character skeleton. Please refer to RolePlaying 102: Making a Character to learn about this.
Once You've thought about all of the details and worked out the kinks and how you want the climax to rise and how it should end you can type it! For plots to be seen and read please post them in the Plot Workshop in the Role Play Dimension where there are plenty of examples to refer to. Just remember that whatever Rp it is please write where it's located. For example If you make a werewolf, vampire, huma, etc Rp it would go into the RolePlay Dimension If you make a fairie, shapeshifter, wizard, etc Rp it would go into the Fantasy Galaxy. The Unrestricted section allows whatever Rp but only if it has explicit content, that you would think it to a rating of R.
Once that's all done people will read it and will generally comment on questions that they may have. If you are unsure about making a plot, please send anyone from the Once Bitten staff a message concerning that you would like help making an idea. Or asking the senior members is recommended too.
Congrats! You have graduated RolePlaying 104!
Thank you
