I looked up at Fearia and sighed. "The boy is Brian the female is Faythe" I said. I smiled up at her. "So tell me about yourself Fearia, what are you like?" I asked, then slowly looked over to Vince. My mind still was thinking about what had happened in the water. Would things be the same?

i watched him get farther and farther away. next thing i knew i was running toward him asking him to wait up. "i need to go for a run. wanna come?" he is part of the pack. get to know him. i need to see how well he controls his wolf self. as well as my own wolf around him.

I looked back to Fearia and smiled. "I want to know everything you want to share, what are your hobbys? what are you good at are you a hunter or more of a scout type? What are you interested in, stuff like that" I said.

"Ow I love to run. When I was little I was on the track team for my school. Im good at both hunting and scouting. AN dim intersted in almost anything that has to do with animals" I said to her smiling. "What about you."

I smiled big as i herd her say wait up and ask if i wanted to run with her. but once she got to me i wiped the smile away. I looked at her and gave her a little smile and said "sure ill run with you were do you usaly run."

Vincent listened and smirked, as he lied in the sand. His hearing picked up something splashing in the water, a little ways from the shore and he bolted upright. He then jumped to his feet with his eyes wide.
"FISH! MINE!!" he barked as he felt his stomach growl in hunger. Vincent raced to the ocean and played in the water, chasing the fish causing a watery mess all about him as he made a plenty of a ruckus.

"Well I-" I cut myself off when I heard Vincent yell out. At first I held back a laugh but when he started chasing it like a new born pup I couldn't help myself, I burst into laughter. "Need...*gasp* help?" I said between laughs.

I looked at vincent and stated to laugh. He looked like a puppy playing with a toy. I dont laugh often but this was to mutch.

"Damn fish!!" he cursed as he bared his teeth,still chasing in the water. "Stay. Still!" He felt seaweed wrap around his ankle and bring him down face first into the water, making a final splash.
He quickly erected himself in a sitting position and glanced back at the two females.
"You guuuuys, it got away," Vincent whined, jutting out his bottom lip.

I was laughing so hard I was practically in tears, but when I saw the look he was giving me I calmed down and just smiled. I had to admit the look was cute, adorable even. I stood up and walked towards him, I looked around for a fish and saw one close by. I bent low a little and crept up close to it. When I was close enough I waited for a second then leaped into the water with a splash. I re-emerged with the fish wiggling and squirming in both hands. I stood back up and walked up to Vincent. I bent down in front of him and smiled. I punctured the fishes gills and it died instantly. I looked at him with a gentle smile and ofered him the fish. "Clumsy pup" I said softly.

The boy grinned widely at the fish, finally being held out to him. He could crush it it and taste its delicious flesh, satisfying with its juices that could be rolling from his teeth and rushing its journey to fill his constant whining stomach. He then looked up at Aleu, how she easily looked over his shoulder,always protecting him and maintaining a watchful eye for his safety. Vincent had tried on multiple occasions to rise strong and return the favor, a surging instinct older than the werewolves shape shifting history, to always be loyal at her side whether she wanted him for herself or not. If she decided to take another for a mate, Vincent found himself imagining he would plainly remain her loyal Beta, her very close friend and thats all it will ever amount to, and he would respect the male she would choose.Although it pained him to come to terms with the fact that she could never take him seriously, he was too much of a clumsy pup around her and didn't offer the proper protection she deserved.
Vincent sighed and laughed, the thoughts lingering in his head. No matter what the kiss earlier was, he knew it meant nothing serious to Aleu, she wasn't ready for a mate anyway. She had told him in the past and he stayed on the boundaries respecting her space. The kiss was an accident and was an opening to heaven he wouldn't ever see again, but it was paradise while it lasted.
He pulled himself up to his feet and delicately took the fish from her hands, his eyes focusing on how Aleu's hands were smooth and free of the rough road ahead so far.
The fish squirmed in his hands and he shook himself out of his thoughts, though they would pinch at his temples for the rest of the day. Vincent held up the fish to the other girl and he exclaimed to both females with his usual grin, "Want some??"

I looked at Vincent and shook my head. "No thanks Vince" I said. Then I looked at him again. Something seemed a little different. Like something was bothering him and for some reason that got to me. My thoughts wandered to the kiss, how he seemed to lean into it like he had wanted that for ages. Then something popped into my head. *Does Vincent like me?* I shook my head, no it couldn't be possible they were always friends, best friends. I stood up and held out a hand to him to help him up. But the more and more I thought about it the easier it was to believe that possibly...I could like him too. I blushed at the thought but averted Vincents eyes hoping he wouldn't see. Did I like Vincent?

I gave a little laugh. "of course sorry." i looked in frount of me and said. "i know a little path to run if you want to run it. i run it at least once a day."

When he stood up I began to walk away but unknowingly I still held onto his hand. "Feria we must go for now there is something my Beta and I must discuss" I said. I wanted to think of a way to Initiate the new members. Then I realized I was still holding Vincents hand. I snatched it away and blushed . "S-sorry" I said. I walked forward, knowing he would follow. I began to question myself. To me, was Vincent really just a friend...or could he be...more.

"K IM gonna be in town" I said and walked away. When I was in town a guy was watching me I could tell easily. I turned down a deserted street and hide. He popped down the street to look for me. When i was at his back I jumped on him and pushed him down. I asked "Why were you following me." He looked confused then he blushed and said "Well i wanted to know who your are but I didnt want to bother you". He had dirty blond hair and blue eyes. I let him get up and he ruffled his hair in a stratch. He was at least 5 inches taller than me. He was pretty well built he had musles just nothing to big. He had a sheepish smile on his face. "Well your bothering me now so bye" i said and started to walked away. He yelled "wait." I sighed and asked "What" and turned around. "Can I have your number or aleast your name" He asked shyly. "Feria now bye" I said and walked away.

I noded to Feria as she walked away and just kept walking with Vincent. As the silence continued I began to think. All the years that Vincent had been around me not once had I seen him with another female. Sure he had caught their attention but he never seemed to get with any of them. The thought of Vincent with another girl. For some strange reason that didn't settle very well with me. Then I began to look at the memories of him with me. How he always supported me and how he was so willing to leave his own Pack to help me achieve my goal. How he always seemed to make me smile and how easy it was to be myself around him, to let the stress just melt away when I am around him. He always seemed to try to be around me when I needed him or know every word that I said. And that kiss. He hadn't pulled away when we had fallen into that predicament, instead in my daze when I had placed my hand upon his cheek..he had leaned INTO the kiss and I had liked it. My eyes widened as I finally came to a realization. I did like Vincent, I Really liked him. *Oh gods what do I do?* I thought. Or more importantly what will I do? I knew I had to ask Vince how he felt...but when? I peeked over at him making sure he didn't see me. I looked at his thick muscles, tanned from the sun, his strong jawline to the softness of his lips and his fiery like sun eyes. How the water that was dribbled on him seemed to make him sparkle and his hair how it was slicked back, a little darker due to the water. He looked...Hot. I looked back at the ground hiding a blush at my knew affections. I suddenly became really shy, I didn't want to speak like I was afraid of my own words. What would I say, what should I ask,where when it seemed to all come at me. Then I thought of something, tonight. I didn't say anything, I just kept walking, it would be sundown soon and I would have the truth by tonight.

Vincent still held her hand because she didn't let go, he didn't mind anyway. He looked down at their laced fingers, how her hand fit perfectly within his, like his missing puzzle piece.
Although they had been through much together, through heartache and battles between rivaling male leading packs, he had felt it was all worth it. Just to see Aleu smile was enough for him, it brightened his days and made him feel a little warmer inside.
She was keeping her eyes away from him. His brows knitted in question, but it didn't rise in his throat. He couldn't voice it, he knew Aleu would tell him her thoughts when she was ready, he just had to give her time.
So Vincent allowed it, and bit his tongue. Yet another question rose to his mind.
"What'd you want to speak to me about?" he asked his alphess, the memory of their recent kiss timidly on the edges of his mind.

I shook myself out of my thoughts when Vincent spoke. Now at my new realization that I possibly Liked Vincent, his voice sounded nice, really nice. I looked down at our intwined hands and blushed almost on instinct. "Well I um I was uh, I..." at first I couldn't remember why I had wisked us away, but before he could see my confusion I remembered. "I wanted to talk about some ideas on what their inititation should be, you know to prove their worth and all" I said. That's when I looked up at him. Should I wait until tonight? Would I have the chance? *Maybe I'll ask him when we're alone....yeah the instant we're alone* I kept thinking to myself. But what would I do if he didn't like me? Now that I knew that I did like Vincent, what would I do if he said no? *I have to ask, if I don't I'll never know* I thought.

Vincent nodded as he listened to her,withdrawing his hand from hers and leaning against a fallen log on the beach. The sun behind them loomed causing the sky to darken to a purple-red, burning the heavens. The glow played on Aleu's face and it made his heart hammer.
"Hmm..maybe we could have them do something. Something that would prove to us that they can work as a team and are comfortable in their other skin--like a hunt!" he suggested with a grin.

I felt my spirit sorta lift a little at the thought. "Yeah great idea but it would have to be something hard to catch" I put my finger to my lips and began to think. "Something besides your average deer, maybe a gator? Or a moose? No those are to far away, gators are closer" I mumbled to myself. I then looked around. Everyone was gone except Vincent and I. My heart began to do a rapid fire against my rib cage. We were alone. I sat down in the sand, pretending to still be thinking when I actually didn't want Vincent see my moment of weakness, my legs were shaking. I looked at the sand. My mind was racing, one side saying don't ask the other pushing me to ask. *Duh dummie he has always liked you* one side was saying. *Your imagining things your just friends* the other said. I sighed and kept looking down. Although I was Alphess right now, at the moment I didn't feel much like one. I then took a deep breath. "Vince..." I said softly, still looking at the sand. I didn't wait for a response. "The initiation...wasnt the only thing I wanted....to ask about" I said. I could feel my heart pounding against my chest like a race horses thundering hooves, this was it.
