Vincent's eyes became alert as his senses peaked, ready for anything.If she told them they would be ambushed by enemies he was ready to shift and fight for her safety, he could fight better as a wolf and give her better protection. He straightened, prepared for anything she would have to say.
He saw the nervousness on her face, how her eyes strayed from his, how insecure she was.
It then came to his mind that she may want to speak about the kiss. That they should never speak of it and that it was a mistake. Although in all reality it was, he knew Aleu very well, and knew she wouldn't let something like that go without speaking of it.
It hurt his chest that she wouldn't take him seriously,that she'll never look past their friendship, he wanted to howl in pain but withheld it. He was only teasing himself.
The setting sun made her appear like a goddess, he couldn't wait for the moon to rise and show how earthly she truly was.
He took a couple steps towards her but giving her her space.
"A gator would be good.And something other than deer does sound refreshing," he joked. "What is it Aleu? Are you okay?"

I sort of shivered as he came closer. In only a matter of minutes I would have my answer, but at what cost? I couldn't help it, I had to know, it was now or never. I took a deep breath and looked up at him before doing a little jolt. I hadn't realized how close he had gotten. Blushing I looked away. "Vince, there's...something I need to ask you" I said. The sun was finally setting but I paid it no heed. I took my final deep breath, I long one and then looked up at him, sitting on my knees so that I was a little closer. "Vince....do you.....like me? And not like as in friends I mean....like like?" I asked. I tried to kep a straight face but I was so tensed now and so afraid of his answer I didn't know what to do.

Here it was, the moment of truth. She had asked the question he had been trying for months to dodge. She had asked him outright, with her usual confident self. She was his alphess, and she demanded an answer. Although her eyes weren't boring into his, he and Aleu didn't have that kind of relationship anyway. She didn't force him to do anything he didn't want to do and he didn't evade her space nor her position. Although, as an alpha she had all the power to make him do whatever she wanted by the simplest glare into his eyes, but she didn'd force it upon him.
He pursed his lips and looked down at his feet.
She was wanting and answer and it would be wrong to leave her in the dark.
Finally his nodded slightly, his secret taken from him. The pressure was still on his chest and he decided to go a little further--did he dare?
"Its not a matter of 'like like'"--he chuckled at the child terminology of love--"its simply love. Its always been love. Always for you as long as I can remember."
There it was. He had confessed his deepest secret to the woman he had loyally followed for so long. She had asked for it, and if she didn't like the answer then she shouldn't have been so curious.
He quickly tried to cover his tracks with continuing, "But if you don;'t want anything serious--I-I never expected it. I-I know there's a better alpha mate for you somewhere out there a-and I have no problem with the two of you finding each other. I'm stil-still your Beta, and I'll be here as long as you want me." He felt his palms sweat.

My heart would have fluttered to the skies if it wasn't for my rib cage. He...he loved me. He really loved me. I felt my facial expression soften and my breath released even though I hadn't remembered holding it. I looked up at Vincent. My sweet loyal Vincent. I knew now for sure what I felt. "Vincent" I said softly. I sat up, still on my knee's and, before he could react, I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him, nuzzling my face against his neck. "I don't want anyone else, my love is yours" I whispered. That was it, what I had been feeling all day, I loved Vincent and I had finally aknowledged it.

I sighed as I waited for them all in the book store. Where are they" I said to myself in a mumble. I sighed and left the store and went into the thickest clostest woods I could find and turned into my wolf form and howled for them to hurry up and come. Then I changed back and went to the spot and waited.

Vincent felt his heart race like a stampede of wild animals that quickly coarsed through his veins.
He couldn't help but grin,all those thoughts of her getting a male that he would have to tolerate vanished from his shoulders. Whoever the possible alpha male to be with Aleu won't be able to--cause he's with her!
It felt wonderful to tell her his deep secret and that she had kept one herself.
He really did love her,how her blush glowed upon her cheeks, how her eyes seemed to light with stars like the night sky itself.
The sun had finally lowered behind the distant ocean, a bright full moon hanging in the sky.
Everything was a tint of blue and it seemed to match Aleu's frail but oh so rebellious figure.
"Blue looks good on you." Vincent smirked. He heard a howl that struck his ears but he was still high in his hopes, warm with the love he had for Aleu and how real it was for the both of them. He extended his hand towards her."Shall we?"

I nuzzled my nose against his neck one last time before leaning back and taking his hand with a smile on my face. I nodded and stood up with him, my hand in his. I looked at our intwined fingers, realizing how big and strong his hand was compared to my smaller hand, and how easily they seemed to go together. Like a lost piece to a large puzzle. I looked back up at Vincent, looking at his handsome face and big smile. I could tell he was happy even without looking at him. His posture and the aura he radiated was pure happieness. I smiled and kissed him on the cheek. I had to admit I might not be as happy as him, but I was pretty darned close.

As we walked around I decided to take my time. I wanted to spend some time with Vincent. I wrapped my arms around his left arm and rested my head against him as I slowed down the pace. I looked up to him with curious eyes. "So Vince, why didn't you tell me? Why didn't you give me any clues until now?" I asked. Then I remembered the little incident and smiled wider. "Also, did you plan that little, accident?" I asked suspiciously.

He felt sweat break across his forehead as he was faced with more questions, a lot he had tried to push out of the depths of his mind for months. His cheeks warmed with a blush as they walked in the moonlight, hands locked, and although he kept his grasp gentle, Vincent didn't want her to leave his side. The boy considered her questions thoughtfully, and when he found the reasoning in his head he quickly longed to tell her.
"Umm..no that actually was an accident." His blush deepened,his rib cage rattling with his wild heart. His chuckled. "Well..its been ever since we first met. I never used to be such a clutz until you walked into my life but I'm glad for it. I never told you or did anything cause I wanted you to have your pack and reached the goal you've always wanted before you had to worry about a mate. You're such a strong woman, I didn't want you deter you from your dream"

"sure sounds nice..." i looked at the setting sun and smirked before checking my surroundings for possible threats then shifted into a wolf and sped off. i knew he could catch up if i sprinted.

As i saw her turn and run i quickly did the same. and went after her. i cought up with some ease and sped past her, but only a short distance. when i looked behind me and looked at her i smiled and when i came back around to face the frount i nearly hit a tree. but was able to dodge it real quick and she went by. i grunted. there i go trying to show off but just look like a ideat. so this time i cught up again but stayed right behind her playng follow the leader.

I listened to him and just smiled. I could understand that because that's just how Vincent was, never to pushy always patient. I stopped in my tracks causing him to stop too. I looked up at him, seeing his deep red face. I thought it was so adorable and sweet. "You know you can tell me anything Vince, it would have stunned me yes but I will still have a pack, you helped me, you gave me incouragement and supported me" I looked into his eyes. "How could you not help when your the one that's supported me this entire time, not only that but now we really do have a pack...well sort of if they pass the initiation" I said with a slight giggle. I clenched his hand a little tighter and brought it to my cheek. "Your my Vincent, you have always been, it just took that accidental kiss for me to finally realize it" I said, closing my eyes.

I walked out again and being as impation as i am change and howled again. I changed back and started walking when I heard a shuffiling in the brush near by. I made a grwol deep in my throgt and said come out. Out came the blond kid again. "What are you doing here" I asked him growling. He just sat there and looked at me then after a minuate he smiled up at me and asked "So your a lycan to." I froze and asked "What." "Your a lycan right" he asked again. "No im a human" I said throw my teeth. "Didnt you just turn into a lycan" he asked. Then when i wouldnt answer he took my hand and lead me into the woods again and changed to a dark brown lycan. Then he changed back smiling up at me and asked "So are you right." I just changed into my lycan form then changed back. I got caught i never get caught I thought to myself. Then he shook me and i mentaly shook myself then said "Yeah so what. Im a lycan and so are you now go away." "Do you have a pack" he asked following me as i walked away back to the store. "Yes why" I asked enetering the store. "Because i dont have one" he started and I cut him of. "If you want to join the pack ask my alpha if she ever gets here."

i laughed. "maybe just a little yes." then i ran to ketch up and came up beside her. "this make you more confortable or would you rather look at mine." i gave a little chuccle.

I gave her the lead but only a slight leed at that. then when we broke from the forest and came to a clearing. i did a quick stop and looked around for a bit. it looked nice there were some animals, and the sky was still a little blue with some purpal..."wow aint it awsome how the sky does that when the sun is going down."
