Avis was definitely caught off guard as she felt soft lips crushing into hers. She had been waiting for this moment, she recalled how close she was a few days before to kiss him and now here she was.
She felt her heart lift as her sense of breathing escaped all recesses of her instincts.
When he took his lips away she was almost crestfallen. He began ranting how he had been too forward but Avis wouldn't tolerate any of that.
Before he could retract his arms away from her, she grasped onto his wrists with a firm yet delicate hold.
Then excuse me if I'm too forward...she said as she stood on her tip toes to reach his lips as she coaxed his arms to wrap around her waist, hoping he would bring her close again. She enjoyed the touch between them and shivered against the kiss. I want to be a couple with you, Atra.

He moved his hands down lower then her waist though he'd not seem to grab as much as pull her up onto him so her head was above his as he tilted his head upwards returning her kissing now. there was a lot of heat coming from his body and around them a slight mist of gold and a different color it was the color of her's intertwined with his it was as if even their forces were compatible and he continued to kiss her passionately or at least starting to get so.

Avis tilted her head, her hourglass curves in Atra's strong arms. She dug deeper into the kiss, searching for more. Once she felt his heat escalate she became addicted to it and yearned for his warmth, seeking refuge from the cold in this cave. She went to tear off his shirt, hoping to slip it over his head, and allow her hands to wander upon his skin.
She unfolded her wings, spanning out behind her to not get in their way. She closed her eyes and relished this moment.

His lips worked to satisfy what she desired and his shirt was easily removed but as her hands did wonder she'd feel the smooth parts where skin scaring littered his body. things continued to intensify as he drew on the cold as she drew from his heat. They would be together and a couple.

They lay in the cave her on-top of him as his back was against the cold ground and they were some distance away from where they had started now being in the middle of the cave. his arms were wrapped around her.

Avis burrowed into his chest as he lied beneath his chin, her fingers delicately tracing along his scars she found to admire. Looking up at him she met his golden eyes as she kissed his nose.
Was that too forward of me? she joked.

He smiled then kissed her lips gently. "I like when we can be forward it means a better time for us." his heart would be beating loudly and slowly. His hands continued to move across her back gently and they seemed to be doing so in a loving manner. "Though we might have to be careful, we can have little versions of us running around... and there is some things you might wanna know as well about my mind."

Avis let out a tender laugh from her throat, one of the few sounds she could give along with her tweets and chirps to the birds. She pictured dark haired shape shifters taking after Atra running around the forest and it seemed like paradise. She had always wanted children but was never given the chance. She gazed at Atra and said, Pray, what is on your mind?

He just held her kissing her again seeming he was the affectionate type. "Well, when we do this and kiss and all of it, my DNA can transfer over to you, right now the ammount makes no differeance but if it gets higher and takes a hold you could become like me in a way Avis and that also means that although you'll be what you are right now, you'd be more comfortable with my kind you'd belike me in some respects and we could... have little Avis' and Atra's roming around, if you wanted.

Avis allowed him to hold her, but almost instantly it became more of a willing surrender. She kissed his neck, adoring how their skins brushed against each other. Once she heard another reference to children her mind began ticking and puzzling things together.
You mean...I could shape shift? And have children? she asked.

He gave a small nod. "To degrees yes you will be able to shape shift, Children." he nodded again and kissed her check likely brushing his lips over her skin. "Your race could even grow in numbers once again."

She fantasized in seeing Hagles once more, but they wouldn't be purebred Hagles like her flock, but it didn't matter. She just wanted a family again, she knew there was no magic anywhere,either on Earth or in the galaxy to bring her family back to life, and she had come to terms with that. Raising children was fine to her, it sounded wonderful, especially with Atra at her side.

He gave a small reassuring smile. "Where else would I be Avis." He hoped he was making her happy and not having her linger on any bad thoughts. his memory's were blotchy and he knew this part well enough though. "I see no place I'd rather be in the future then with you Avis."

Blushing furiously, for she had never heard such a dedicated comment like that before, Avis grinned and curled on his torso, her fingers running through his hair. Then I would be honored to have children with you, dearest Atra.

After walking away for them to have there moment I looked around the forest then later on I noticed it was getting late I got dressed and had a small little bird go find alvis and tell her that its almost time to leave.

He seemed to enjoy her moving her hands through his hair. he kissed her checks with her blushing before smiling and through a instinctual way he licked he check and blushed him self. "Well.... that's embarrassing." now instead he kisses the spot and continued to hold her but the moment they were having was interrupted when a bird came in to tell Avis the message Iris had for her.

Avis felt her heart hammer with a speed she didn't know was possible when Atra licked her cheek and then kissed it. She thought it amazing but regretfully averted her attention to the bird that had entered. She smiled at the bird, always happy to see a fellow creature but chewed on her lip when it meant she would have to part with Atra. She nodded, chirping in her lullaby of a voice to tell Iris they'll be down in a moment.
She grabbed her garments and dressed herself, kissing Atra on the lips briskly, her eyes gleaming.
See you down there, she said as she unfurled her wings and took flight flying towards Iris and landing on the ground before her.
She smiled at her, a blush on her cheeks. What's wrong, dear friend?

"Nothing, its just time to go its sun set and the ball has probably aready started" I said smiling at her and I winked and told her "Its ok though I wouldn't have pulled you away if I didn't have to" I said to her.

Nodding, Avis's blush began recede. She then glanced back at the direction of the kingdom seeing the great castle in the distance.
Whenever you both are ready just let me know and I can take my place, she said glimpsing towards the sky.

Atra was already down and had his armor already on which was needed for the guard patrol. He hid two of his own personal weapons in the back while he had the standard sword strapped to his thigh. "Now I know your not saying I have a big butt."

He would just roll his eyes. "Well Avis, I think its time we got things rolling and I make my way to my post after escorting. 'M'lady'." he said as if getting ready to pull of his little act. "To the ball where I will continue from there and try and not punch the captains face in..... I'll just have to mentally settle for doing it."
