Avis was occupied flying above and keeping her eyes and ears tuned to what was going down below. Around her was a flock of geese, squawking to her as some blue jays were below on the limbs of trees, keeping their hearing averted to their surroundings and beyond that. While she was busy flapping her wings, she heard Iris enter her head and summon her. Wondering with what her friends had learned, she looped in the air and soared down, landing gently in one of the trees sitting on a limb.
So what's going on? she asked.

"That we got a way into the inner domains of the castle...... I'm now a guard and shes going to a ball." he motioned to the mask. I wish I knew a way to get her more involved but this was my type of world of war and killing not something I would bestow on her. "All I had to do was beat up a guard."

Avis's eyes widened for a moment as she felt her heart lurch and her blood rush. She was worried for a moment, hating every second she couldnt be by their side.

He could see she was worried and felt it happy she felt so for him which made him feel guilty in a way. "It wasn't the guard I wanted to beat up..... when we are done with the leadership.... the captain is so getting his butt kicked seven ways from heaven and then to hell for the finals of the battle."

Avis smiled slightly and then asked, So what must I do to aide you? And when is everything going to take place?

He sighed heavily not knowing how to say this. "I really really don't know how you can help at the moment other then with the lay out and I don't even know what I am going to do." he sighed agian. "I just need to familiarize my self with the place and well if something goes wrong I... we would need some one to tell others to help if there are others to help."

Avis's smile dropped from her face. she nodded but knew the routine, just like her mother had told her a year before. She was to only stand on the sidelines and make a run for it to survive if told to. However Avis had found she didn't want to run when she was beside Atra, she wanted to protect him and fight away all of the nightmares that seem to surround them. She had grown tired of running.
Maybe I could help you with memorzing this place. I should share something with you two, I used to come to the kingdom quite a bit when I was a child. I know the outside of the kingdom as well as the inside, she offered.

He nodded. "If it will be safe for you Avis...... if it is the...... then yes I'd like you to help or when we attack you can help lead us... do you know how to fight?" He look at her obviously protective of her more then he was the others, he might evenstart to become over protective.

Avis's eyes glittered. I'd thought you never asked! Of course I know the basic defenses and if need be, the points on a body of where to best kill at.

He shook his head. "Killing is a bad... thing to commit, a lot of people cant and well... I'd rather you know how you defend your self rather then kill......... trust me your consonance will be clearer the less people you kill no matter the reason." He took a step forward. "I only wanna kill those that need to be killed."

Avis put her hand on his arms and gave him a thoughtful look.
I know, she began. I have been taught my whole life against killing. It was frowned upon among my people. We only kill if we want to live but mainly defend ourselves until we can get a clean getaway. Are you okay, Atra? She stepped closer, her eyes questioning but also holding a tinge of concern.

He looked to her lips for a fraction of a second for some reason his scenes decided to attach onto them "I'm okay." though he'd be lying, it seemed to scream dishonestly. "That good then, I'd rather wound or knock them out and kill those that are needed but with his children I'd rather try re-educate them or something."

That we could try and do. I think they're young enough to be re-educated. Im sure with the other children in the village we could try and do the same. Her eyes became distant for a moment. I just don'twant to leave them as orphans. Not everyone in the kingdom is bad. Its mainly the Royals, but the commoners are quite pleasant. Maybe we could spare them.

He nodded. "Avis I never planned on killing the peasants the people, I wanna try take the castle over or something make our selves some place that we can be safe and show them that we... all of us." I motions to us three and further. "A circle of Command rather then a soul one.... but that's probably not possible.... but the peasants should not be harmed just the targets."

Nodding, Avis hid the fact that she enjoyed Atra saying her name. If gave her a shudder along her spine that she tried to hold back.
Right, I'm gonna go grab some more birds to help us, she shared, her wings twitching.

Atra nodded. "Iris I need to prepare my self I'll need some alone time, I... I can still talk to you through the Aura though... just have to say De'sousa." with that I moved off into a cave where he used his ability to ask a bird to try lead her there.

Avis waved at Atra and at Iris and took flight, gaining air beneath her wings. She flew from treetop to treetop, telling them to meet at the castle's outter perimeters and wait in the trees for her signal when they would need their help. The birds, not only understanding Avis, have known she had her former flock for generations. They had come to love the Hagle species, and automatically protected those they considered family. With Avis they considered part of their large bird heritage and would gladly help her and her comrades in this adventure.

While she had a break from flying from one nest to the other, a small Blue Jay and chirped next to her ear. Saying something was important for her to see. She nodded and followed the bird maintaining her pace with the smaller animal since her wings were much larger.

As it lead her to a cave she'd see it as the one they were in before and Atra was moving deeper into it. He obviously had seen her but he kept just in view moving deeper into the caves before reaching the hollowed out part which had some light to it.

He closed the gap between them should she have followed barely allowing enough room to breathe in a figurative manner. "Avis you need to tell me about your connection with the king."

Avis was already hesitant in moving and this confined space frightened her. She hugged herself and looked at Atra with steady eyes. He was beautiful, ever since the first moment she saw him crash into the lake she knew he was different. Right from the start he was willing to protect this planet he knew so little about. She felt her heart warm but also ache for when he brought up the king. She blinked as her aura became warm when she looked at him again.
Alright...I guess I can no longer run from it. King Per and I were once friends, we knew each other since we were children. When we were older we were pulled apart by our lifestyles and by the time I saw him again he was a King and a changed man, always bent on killing mythical creatures. He slayed my flock...my family and he knew them, they had taken him in whenever he crossed into the forest, she explained her eyes remained on Atra. She was unsure if she should tell him about the affair she had with the king, she hoped she could run from that part in her past a little longer.

He shook his head. "I know your trying to hide something Avis and I know that you've answered one of my try questions." he stepped in close to her and touched her arm his eyes shifting to an intense golden. He was happy about something. "Tell me what your hiding." Ever since I had crashed and smiled at her I had only though in that instant when I smiled I had thought that she was a good sight to die looking at which being at the time nothing else could have really altered the way he felt, he was attracted to her and their proximity of a hands length away make his breathe feel more hot then it was as the air rushed and would be felt on her neck.

Avis could tell that Atra was happy and she didn't want to squander it. She loved seeing him happy, it made her feel cozy and at peace. She recalled seeing him angry within the first few hours they had met and it didn't terrify her, it only made her worried; the need to be closer to him stronger.
Biting her lip she replied, It was a childhood fling. At sixteen we were a couple but broke up soon after that...
She turned her green gaze up to his honey golden eyes.

Before she could finish her sentence her stole a kiss from her lips a long one having caught her by surprise he pulled away before she could fully react and he just rested his forehead against hers. "Non, not mad, its your choice on who you be with who you couple with." his arms were loosely around her lower back. "I shouldn't have been so forward." he starts to take his hands away and draws his head back just a little before she reacts.
