| Avis had flown and hovered outside of the castle. She was becoming bored and wanted to help. In her gut she knew it was right for her to kill the king, it didn't seem...fitting? No that wasn't the word. Suiting?No...It didn't seem balanced..there we go! It didn't seem balanced in the weight of the world if Per died by someone else. Avis sighed and shuddered at the thought of being confronted by his image again, but she thought of Atra and what they shared only an hour ago and it made her chest flutter and her cheeks warm. She felt confident that she had someone as wonderful as Atra chosen to be by her side. She crept into the castle from a window, creeping along the walls when she heard voices coming down the corridor. There was no place for her to hide and she was too far from the window to escape. She thought of Atra, how his muscles rippled and made her head fizz with blank thoughts. He had told her she would gain some of his DNA, that she could do things like he could. Avis cleared her mind, she didn't know if this would work and prayed to the Great Spirits that it would. She thought of her wings dissolving, her feathers receding into skin as her feathery, multi-colored hair would darken into brunette curls. Her green eyes would stay the same, she liked their color. Her white dress would be the same too as anything "abnormal" about her would be normal. Whens she opened her eyes she saw a burly guard stand in front of her asking, "What are you doing up here, miss? Aren't you supposed to be down at the dance?" Avis was surprised, it actually worked! But for how long? She was inexperienced and was already exhausted from the magic she had performed. She wondered if she could speak, wondered if she had her old voice back again... "I got lost, I'm sorry," she said. Just as simple as that! It was like she had never lost her voice in the first place. She was beginning to enjoy this new talent she had received from Atra. She wanted to be like this all the time, she never wanted to go back to her old self again. "No problem, miss, let's go." He offered her his arm and she took it hesitantly. She was escorted to the ball and was struck by the excitement, by the beauty of it all. Her first dance....as a human. It all felt so right. But she felt the magic begin to slip. She couldn't stay for long she would have to escape and find the King, but fate was on her side, for King Per was eying her as soon as she walked in with the guard...

| Arrow frowned. "I have a tracker." Tears started to pour out of her eyes and she held them in. She wasn't going to cry. She looked at Atra hoping he would explain the rest. | |

| He sniffed the air a little under his helmet that he now put on his head. "Sic, I do... I know exactly who... probably out side.... and well Arrow can leave because she has a device in her that if she goes out side the boundaries of the kingdom she will be killed by it." He would pull Iris back and take her place finding her with the vision only pure bloods can obtain. "Avis." | |

| Avis was on the sidelines, twirling a lock of hair, of brunette hair. She was trying to stay out of people's way and made an effort to get back to the hallways where she was. She weaved through the people often catching a draft beneath her hair on the back of her neck. She reached and felt some feathers and realized her time was running short. She knew where the hallways were, her memory served her well just like as if she had been there for all her life. She hardly noticed when someone tapped on her shoulder. Without thinking she turned and saw a familiar face. King Per, once her best friend, was standing in front of her. It was all of her control to not gasp at the sight of him. He had gotten older, she noted the facial hair and the wrinkles beginning to form around his eyes. She glimpsed up at the Queen, his wife, the woman he chose to be with and share the rest of his life with. Avis now understood she was only a fling in his childhood,he would never really love her and she didn't need him. Yet memories plagued the surface of her head and she wondered if she could really pull through with this plan. "Good evening, milady. You seem like the curious type. Would you like a tour of the castle?" he offered, not even expecting who she was. Avis was nervous, too nervous to talk. But maybe if they were alone she could kill him quickly. If she did it quick and silent it would be a while before anyone would notice his long absence, and her magic would've drained by then and she would be her normal self and fly through the window, part of the plan achieved then she could call to her brethren and have them finish the job. Running the plan clearly in her head, she nodded solemnly and curtsied in her dress. The King offered her his arm and she took it gently, somewhat stunned the queen wasn't throwing a fit. She took a final glance at the queen, who continued to sit regally at her throne and she didn't seem to care. Per led Avis down the corridor...alone...

| He came back from the door and shut it walking past Iris and moving to Arrow. "I'm terribly sorry to inconvenience you like this Arrow.... but I'm gonna have to go through that window." He squeezed past her and looked to Iris. "You and her try find a way to maybe get a scheme to get her out I have some tracking to do." And with that he climbed to the roof with clawed hands not realizing the two forms above he continued along the roof and that's where he saw the archers. some had gathered on the roof after reports of a Dragon flying around. The archer he came in front of only was able to open his mouth as Atra covered it with his hand and his other hand grabbed a hold of his throat and crushed it completely. "Shhhh, don't struggle its just a bad dream." He whispered into the mans ear. He took up the mans bow and shot the other archers two in the temple and one in the back of their head but one left loose an arrow that shot right past the two dancing dragons above and at this point Atra still held the bow and had the mans arrow case over his back with the bow its self across his chest as he ran using his Aura power to make the presence of him invisible it followed above and then some of it flowed into Avis only offering her a tiny bit more time while the rest of his presence followed above invisible to Per but with Avis she would be able to see it. Atra was tracking them directly above them close to the edge where the windows would be or he could simply cut out a block in the roof. | |

| Avis followed Per down the corridor as they neared a door. She felt Atra's presence, and was comfortable and felt safe. She stared at Per as he stopped in front of the door. She felt Atra give her strength to continue this form and follow through with stopping Per. "So, you got a name?" he asked her. "Jane," Avis lied becoming warm by Atra's aura. "Why were you alone in the ballroom?" he said as he edged towards her. avis wasn't sure whether she should step back or move forward too, so she stayed in one place and averted her eyes. "My escort only brought me, I had no one to dance with," she replied hoping he didn't recognize her voice. "Would you like to keep me company?" he said as he opened the door and led her into an extavagant chamber. Avis was unsure, she didn't want to get hurt but was reminded that Atra was near her, she would be safe with his eyes following her. She stepped into the room. "But my Lord, if i may ask, what about your queen?" she inquired as he set her on the bed. She tried to act nonchalant about it but it was difficult to keep up this disguise, although Atra gave her some extra magic she felt hers continue to slip. She probably only had a few more minutes left. "She's a good for nothig. Only meant for breeding and continuing the bloodline. She does nothing for me and only sits a sulks," he said as he crawled on the bed towards Avis. She gulped and felt sweat down her spine. The feathers on the back of her neck bristled in fear. If his only queen and "love" for life meant nothing to him, maybe she was never anything to him back then. It was only a lie. This wasn't her Per, the Per she knew behind closed doors. He was a total opposite and it frightened her. "But..." "Sshhh," he said as he rubbed her face against hers. Avis jumped out of bed, cornered against the wall as her heart raced. "What's wrong, dear?" he asked her. "I...I think this is wrong. You're the king, you're married....I can't..." Avis didn't want to, she wanted only Atra. There was no affection towards this stranger. "I am the king, jane, I can do what I want," he said as he neared her. Avis felt her "talons" on her nails begin to grow back. She hid them behind her back and thought she could use this for her weapon, if needed she'll stick them right through his heart.

| Atra growled knowing what moves he was making and feeling her fear he started to move to the edge of the window behind the king he prepared the bow and aimed at his back waiting for Avis to give the word. He was ready to defend her and he was like an assassin he was silent not making a sound as he continued to aim at the man his face covered by armor but it had determination on it. | |

| An arrow shot past me and i looked down. "Hey alia make your self scarce" I said as i jumped of her back. Wings grew from my back and i turned into a half dragon. A gril with tattos covering her body and a aqua blue tail and wings.
I sighed and began walking the passages looking for the formilar mind. | |

| Avis noticed movement behind Per, beyond his window. She saw Atra and the anger on his face. She almost smiled but let her emotions ride within her in excitement in seeing him, it was always like she was seeing him for the first time whenever her eyes rested on him. She concealed the smile but let ie show through her emotions. The magic inside of her was exhausted and although Atra helped it wasn't enough. She felt it completely disappear as she felt her wings return, her brunette hair give way to her feathery peacock color. She felt a hint of magic left and used it for her last words as she stared truthfully at the king. Per stared at her, at first in confusion then in amazement. It then ended in recognition. The little boy the king had once been was elated to see Avis, his long time friend. "A-Avis?" he said in disbelief, taking her in. Noticing her long and slender legs, her beautiful feathers and her haunting eyes. Avis became hesitant she didn't think he would recognize her so quickly. She didn't speak, wanting to save her pinch of magic. "Is it really you? What are you doing---my your feathers..." he said trailing off. Avis knew what he was doing. She remembered him standing amidst the slaughter of her family, only wanting them for her feathers. There was nothing left of Per, it was best to put him out of his misery. She strode up to him, tears swelling in her eyes, as she grabbing onto his wrists, pinning him there, unfurling her wings to make a sort of cage so he couldn't escape. Avis had done it so quickly Per had little time to react. "Long live the King..." said Avis, her voice shaking as her inner child cried out. This wasn't right but it was the only way. With that she had lost her magic for the time being, and shouted to Atra using her aura and mingling with his, "NOW!"

| Atra fired the arrow right through his heart the tip of the arrow just below the skin and it was what he considered a merci kill a quick death. He came down from the ledge the darkness almost making him invisable as he took Per from Avis "Farewell King, know that your children shell not be harmed if they have not been tainted into mistreating the inhumans..... Depart in peace, my your soul know eternal rest." At this point the blond haired lady came in and just as she finished her sentance he put his armored hand over her mouth muffling her screams dragging her into the room. "Silence or be silenced, you don't need to die." He was holding her from behind his hand still over her mouth. All she would feel is the coldness of the metal the man was wearing. Full black body armor. He looked like a Black Knight but the design of it looked alien. He slowly released his hand from the ladys mouth, if she tried to scream he would muffle her once agian. "Avis are you fit for flight, I need to make sure Iris gets to safty being she can't fly, I've taken out the archers on top of the castle so all you need to do is fly stright up into the clouds then across and back to the cave after Iris is out I will speak to the Queen and see if she has been tainted by the other royals." He had the resolve to kill but it could be told that it was not his first choice | |
