I shook my head. "No I was out of line and I truly apologize for that and for yelling at you" I avoided eye contact with everyone. I felt so humiliated for throughing a fit it hurt my pride deeply.

I jumped a little as she hugged me. I wasn't used to people or creatures besides Jara showing me any affection. It felt good to have a friend. "So um...what exactly did Jara tell you?" I asked as she hugged me. I was curious to know. I hoped that Jara didn't reveal TOO much. If it was my biggest secret she would be in trouble.

She didnt move after i pulled away so i slowly stepped around her and started walking. "well we need to start finding shelter..." i looked back at takari and jara. "ya'll coming?"

Far from where the two friends were walking, there
was a large town and within this large town were many people from
various races and species bustling about with their tasks to do and
what not. One in particular was a pregnant mother but not just any. She
was half feline and half human with no animal familiar by her side
given she had never met one or ever had the desire to gain one and felt
that she could do things on her own without one.
But this day may
have been made a mark on her mistake for never finding her animal
follower and for being vulnerable for being in a weakened state. She
had no one to wait for her at home, no husband, no parents. Nothing--

Or at least she assumed she didn't.

She
was not the only Hybrid in the town. It was large, vast with hundreds
of people. There were Hybrids everywhere more than humans and shape
shifters. So what would happen to her wouldn't be noticed for a while.

Nevertheless.
This feline Hybrid whom we'll call Nancy was on her way home, tired
already due to her swollen belly and how gravity pulled her down as she
carried a few bags of food to last her for a couple months til she had
enough money to go back and get some more. No one would help her. No
one cared.
Then, when she arrived at her home she felt a glimmer of
relief as she saw her close friend Sophie wait for her at the front
door. The brunette's long hair and comforting dark eyes soothed her
anxiety and stress which she knew was not good for the baby and sighed
with a smile.
Sophie waved and grinned and walked up to Nancy,
holding out her arms offering her friend to help her carry her
groceries. Nancy gave them to her with relief. Although she had only
known Sophie for a little over a week she felt she could be friends
with her forever.
Nancy led them inside and closed the door as Sophie went to take the groceries into the kitchen.
Nancy sat on a rocking chair near the hearth and sighed again, smiling bigger.
"Thanks
Sophie. Those bastards wouldn't dare to help--" she stopped and looked
down at her swollen belly where she could no longer feel the baby
wriggle and kick but an invasion of a sword, highly thin one protrude
from her stomach.
She choked and looked up, Sophie looming over her darkly.
"Sophie....bu-but why??" she begged as blood poured over her legs and onto the floor.
"Because like that fetus in the womb, you're an abomination. Begone."
And with that Sophie jerked the sword out swiftly, Nancy choked and fell on the floor.
Sophie came around and swung the sword down cutting off Nancy's head.
She grinned broader, wiped her blade and left out of the window carrying a bag of groceries til she got her pay from her master.

i sniffed the air. even in half form i can smell blood. automatically i stopped and stared off toward the north. "what is it?" takari asked, not smelling the blood,or at least not noticing it. "nothing good..." i felt my wolf instincts coming over me to go and check it out. *oh this is a bad idea...* "Anaiyu!" takari and jara yelled as i sprinted and shifted into a wolf as i went toward north. the direction of a killing. i growled slightly under my breath, holding back a howl.

As Anaiyu ran north I ran after her. What was wrong with her? Jara began to sniff the air as she ran beside me. I didn't notice as she began to put on the only glamour she used. She began to turn into a women that looked similair to me only older and with dark black hair and dark blue wings with dark blue tail and silvery horns, clothes appeared over her to hide her athleticly curved body, blue silk draped around her like a shimmering dress made of water, sapphire like earrings hung in her ears as a sliver necklace lay around her slightly tan skin. I looked at her confused. "Jara, what's wrong? Is the village closer than we thought?" I asked her. Turning her head to me she nodded and bared her ivory fangs, mouthing the word "Blood." Understanding hit me in the face as I picked up the pace. I spread my wings and soared low to the ground as I grabbed Anaiyu by the scruff. "What the-?" she began. "This is quicker, we'll land before we reach the village" I explained. I was never the one to pry into other peoples business... But this for some reason got me curious. And as they say, curiousity..killed the cat.

i watched as we flew low. my entire body shook as we gt closer to the village. i didnt like this feeling i really didnt. the smell of blood filled my nose and i sneezed. this isnt good....

As we flew the scent of blood and gore hit my nose. Something was wrong, I could sense it. I began to flap my wings so that we could exit the canopy of the forest. Jara had already flew high above the forest, her slender body a streak in the sky. I held on tight to Anaiyu so that I wouldnt drop her. The scruff of her neck a bundle of fur in my hands.

i whimpered slightly as i sniffed in the blood. something wasn't right... the smell was different... it didnt smell.. human.
when we got to the edge of the village i finally reconized the scent. i knew it didnt smell human...because it was a hybrid. i couldnt tell of what but it was definately a hybrid.
"Takari...." i whispered as i warned her of what i smelt and scensed. she didnt say anything and my mind went blank. i knew this scent... not the blood but the body... i am almost sure of it...

Sophie carried the bag and she slowed to a walk among the crowded streets as people mingled along the markets and bought food or traded.
She headed towards a run down inn that wasn't in vacancy or in business at all, the citizens of the village ignoring its existence til it would be dismantled and destroyed and rebuilt as something new and better.
But for now, it was home.
A temporary home til Sophie would receive orders from her Master to know where Takari was. She was in search of her, the hybrid her master wanted dead. She agreed and obeyed his orders not only because he owner her soul but also because of the pay. She didn't buy too much food, she knew how to hunt animals and steal if needed. She spent her celery on weapons, new or refurbished or modifying her old ones.
As she slunk into the old inn she turned right and crouched, pulling back a rug blanketed with dust and mold.
Beneath was a trap door that led into a vast cellar where wine and emergency food if the inn could never get any game during he winter.
She entered the cellar dimly lit with a few candles.
There she was met by a great snow leopard, large, ferocious yet gentle as he padded over to her.
She smoothed his head, petting him as she heard a voice enter her mind. Soothing and sweet, dark like that of an adult but harmless and trusting.
How'd it go? Kar asked, purring as she walked to a corner to put the food in a cold barrel.
"Went good. Killed her, got food, and will get a good pay. Tell the boss she was pregnant, he may give me a bonus."
Kar nuzzled her leg as she stooped to kiss his head.
"Now let's eat."

As I flew to the town I slowly began to desend, flapping my wings slowly and going down in a circle. Just before I landed I threw Anaiyu down so that she landed on her paws. The minus of her weight sent me up a couple of inches giving me time to get me feet down to the ground before my hands. We were at the entrance to the town. People were walking everywhere. Purebreeds of all types walked and pushed through the crowd to get to the shops that were selling food, weapons, clothes, jewelry, armor, and shields of all types. Anything you could think of was being sold in the market. It was an easy way to miss someone being murdered unless you paid attention. I looked over as I saw Jara land, her beautiful figure gracefully touching the ground. "We better keep a sharp eye out, I don't trust this place already" I told them both. I quickly began to walk to the town.

In the bustling town that was Arawganon a tall dark skinned Hybrid dragon boy walked the streets. His short black hair barely wet as he walked through the streets with his two dragon gaurdians, a humungious black dragon male and a smaller but still big blue and silver dragon female. He carefully walked through the streets only looking into the stores that had swords and shields and the occasional clothing, when out of the corner of his eye he saw a glint of silver and blue. And it wasn't his dragon
"Who was that?" I asked Jaggerjack as I tried to catch sight of the Draconian girl that I had seen. Jaggerjack just shook his head. "No idea, she must be traveling through here" he replied. I looked after the girl. As I watched her I realized that another Draconian walked with her, only difference was that I could tell that she wasn't a Draconian but a true dragon. Also following her was a black wolf. "I want to meet her" I said more so to myself than to my gaurdians. I began to walk forward when suddenly Crysel grabbed my tail. "Ow what the heck Crysel?" I asked as I looked up at her. "You are not running off, we are coming with you, got it?" she said as she began to push through the people to get next to me as well as Jaggerjack. Rolling my eyes I began to push through the crowed as I tried to reach the girl, when suddenly I lost them. "Damn it" I said quietly. *I will meet her* I thought as I attempted to look around for her. What a beauty she seemed to be.

i understood why takari didnt trust this place but why is she stull in half form. she should at least try to look human. i didn't think i looked any different than a normal wolf... except for my slightly smaller size but aside from that i look almost identical. i opened my mouth to tell takari that we should have jara fly nearby and she should try to look a little more human. i swear the look she gave me almost killed me. i thought she was going to bite my head off! i understood why she hated humans but is her own life worth getting killed?!?!? i didnt trust this place and i didnt want to take the chance of loosing a new friend.

I glared down at Anaiyu as she suggested I look more human. If she knew what happened then it hurt even more to suggest it. "I am more safe in this form than in a human glamour,do you not see all of the werecats and wolves in their half form? If I put on the appearance of a human it will draw major attention" I growled down to her. "And besides, Jara used her glamour so that she could walk among us without causing a rucus, not that it would matter now that I look around" I said as I turned my head to see creatures of all types around as well as the occasional human, which I sterred clear from. Gryphons, mountain lions, tigers, wolves with fellow werewolves, anything and everything was here. The only difference was that the humans semed to crowed in the back of the market, not towards the entrance. "Well it's to late now, everyone sees her as a draconian like me, she's a purebreed so changing will raise suspision" I said as I turned and began to walk again.

I pushed through the crowds ignoring their protests and curses as I tried to find the girl. I don't know why I searched, it was something new to me. Of course there were other beautiful women in the town and every guy seemed to hound them but I bipassed them with ease. She on the other hand did something to me, her face plastered in my brain. My only thought was that I had to meet her. Crysel and Jaggerjack tried with all of their patience to follow me. "Tyson slow down" Jaggerjack said. There she was. Heading for the allys. What was she thinking, those places were dangerous. *I have to follow her* I thought as I trailed her. Suddenly I saw a werewolf man and his wolf follow behind them to the ally. *No!* I thought as I began to feverently push through the crowd.

i followed takari in silence with my head low. i didnt take in account for the other hybrids. i kept a look out for any harm though... for when there are glamours... there is a hunter amoung them... this is why i stay away from villages... you cant even trust your closest allies.

As we began to walk into the ally I looked down at Anaiyu and saw that she was tensed up. I didn't blame her, the town wasn't a good place to be at the moment. "Anaiyu Jara keep your eyes open and ears sharp." I said. "Yes that would be smart now wouldn't it?" I heard a raspy voice behind me say. I jumped and turned around, claws ready. Behind us was a tall dull grey furred werewolf his eyes golden brown as he stood on two feet you could see his long talons. I growled as I faced him, Jara hissing next to me and Anaiyu letting out a low growl. Out from behind the Were came his follower, a silver wolf with blazing blue eyes. "What do you want?" I said trying to be as calm as the Were was. "I want you nice young ladies of course, your little wolf thee is perfect for Jent here and you nice young ladies look soo yummy" he said as drool began to slip from his lips. It all happened so fast, he was stepping forward, ready to attack when out of nowhere he was down. It took my mind awhile to regester that someone had attacked the Were.

As I pushed through the crowd I lost Crysel and Jaggerjack in the hustle of the market. Creeping up to the ally I kept my breathing shallow and slow. I turned my head to try and get an idea of where the wolves were. They were right next to the wall only a few inches away. I slowly crouched down...and pounced. I tackled the Were to the ground only to have him turn and snap his jaws close to my face. Avoiding the bite I took my right hand and closed his jaws shut while I wraped my left arm around his neck and latched my hand to my forearm. "Gellet the hwell offf mwe" he attempted to say through my grip. Growling he attempted to scratch me off, he managed a scratch above my left eye. Thrashing about I held on, my only thought was that he tried to hurt her, tried to kill her. He slamed me against the wall as his wolf tried to attack. Suddenly Jaggerjack appeared and snapped the pup up, crushing him between his teeth. In the moment that the Were was destracted I took his head and snapped it around. He fell down dead.

i watched in complete awe at fight in front of me. i couldn't move from my spot in front of takari. i watched as the body of the were threatening us fell with a loud thud as hit body hit the ground. the guy responsible took one step forward, over the body and i let out a long growl. letting him know if he takes one more step he is going to lose something...i never took my eyes off of him or his friend

I watched in amazment as the man killed the Were. Moving with much grace he snapped the Weres neck as his dragon crunched the wolf. When the Were fell he hunched over it making sure it was dead....then he looked up. I held back a gasp as I looked at him, his eyes were so blue that they seemed to hypnotize me. As he took a step forward I heard Anaiyu growl. Shaking my head I took a step back. "What do you want?" I asked gently.

As I looked over I saw her. Standing there watching me. She was like an angel that watched over me, her silver and blue hair pulled back. My heart kicked into an unsteady trot, not from the fight...but from her. I looked away, trying not to make eye contact as I stepped over the dead Were. As I did so the wolf growled. Looking back up I saw that she had stepped back. She was afraid? I wouldn't blame her if she was, but I didn't want her to go, I couldn't explain why, I just didn't want her too. "What do you want?" I heard her ask. Her tone wasn't that of fear, but of a gentle tone. I looked away as I felt the blood from the scratch on my eyebrow trickle down my face. I tried to keep my voice steady as I said "I just saw that you might be in trouble, the Were followed you and I thought I should help....I'm..sorry if I frightened you" Jaggerjack just stood behind me, saying nothing. "I'll just go" I said as I began to turn when I felt a hand grab my left arm, just below the elbow. I turned my head to see her, standing next to me.

i gave a slight surprised growl as takari grabbed him. i took a paw or two back and i kept a close eye on the male. i didnt know if the telepathy we were able to use would work since im not in dragon form but i concentrated hard and called out to jara in my head.
*keep your eye on the dragon. you have better chance getting past its scales than i do* i kept my head clear and waited anxiously for her to reply... if she even got it. i sniffed the boy. he wasn't afraid. i could tell he was a draconian for the scent was almost identical to takari's. who is he??? i couldnt understand why but i got the strange feeling that he could be trusted...

It took me a second to realize exactly what I had done. My eyes grew wide as I let his arm go. I turned my head away as he looked down at me. "I-i'm sorry I didn't mean to do that...you don't have to go...um" I looked up at him and tried to smile. "Thank you...oh my god your bleeding!" I said as I realized the blood on his face. Stepping around to face him I reached my right hand up to try and wipe some of the blood from his eye, he turned his head as I did so, refusing to look me in the eye. "Its nothing" he said as he placed his hand on mine. "It looks pretty bad to me, follow me I'll clean it for you" I said as I took a step back gently pulling on his hand. Finally he looked up at me and I again had to refrain from a gasp as his sapphire blue eyes stared at me. He didn't move, he just stared. Coming back to my senses I pulled his hand again. "Come on, we won't bite" I said. I looked around him and saw Jara nod her head to Anaiyu. *I think* I thought as Jara began to walk towards the boys dragon. He growled in a playful way as she approached, Jara growled, not so playful.

As she placed her hand on my eyebrow I placed my hand on hers, I didn't look at her in fear that she was fake or an illusion. When my fingers touched hers I said "It's nothing" "It looks pretty bad to me" she said. She grabbed my hand and gently pulled it. "Follow me I'll clean it for you" she said. That's when I looked up. Who was she? Why did she do these things to me? HOW did she do these things to me? Jaggerjack playfully growled as her dragon in disguise approached. She growled back but wasn't so playfull. I nodded my head and began to follow her. "Anaiyu, Jara lets go, I don't want another ambush to happen" she said. "I'm...Takari" Takari...that was her name. I gave a gentle smile as I looked down at her. Leaning down I whispered in her ear. "My names Tyson"

i looked up at takari as she called he. i slowly waited till they moved forward, keeping an eye on this tyson. i sniffed the air as they passed. he smelt fine....safe... hmm, this is strange. i heard tysons dragon growl at jara again and i let out a large growl and a bark at him. as the dragon glared at me and jara looked at me strangely i looked back at the hand holders... i hope she knows what she is doing. i walked forward and followed takari and tyson.

I looked away as I realized that my blod was rushing to my face, making me blush. "My names Tyson" he had whispered in my ear. A tingling shiver ran up the right side of my body as he said that. Thankfully no one noticed and I continued to walk. Hearing Anaiyu bark I turned my head and smiled. "Anaiyu, since we're in an ally why don't you change to your half form." I said as I looked at her. I tried to also tel her that he was ok. "I'l talk with you later" I mouthed to her. "Um I'm sorry about Jaggerjack, he's just playing around with your gaurdian, I promise he..." he paused for a second and turned to his dragon. "Wont hurt her" he finished as Tyson looked up at his big black dragon. I turned my head and walked out of the ally, holding Tysons wrist.

As she took me out of the ally I felt Jaggerjacks mind brush against mine. *The girls dragon is very interesting* he said through our mental contact. *You obviously are intrigued by the girl as well* he aded. *Jagger where is Crysel?* I asked him through the connection, trying to change the subject. *She flew above us for awhile and head back to the cottage after she saw you were safe, she wants us home now* he said. I looked down at Takari. I would not just abandon her. Then an idea hit me. "Come with me" I said as I stoped and turned the other direction towards our cottage. "Wait what?" I heard her say. "We'll be safer where I'm taking us, trust me" Trust, that was something I rarely gave...or got.

"trust me." i heard him plead. i narrowed my eyes. i felt he was ok but i rarely take chances. i dont want to lose her. i shifted into half form looking mostly human but i kept my wolf ears and my dragon scences. i needed a heightened scence to watch around us. also i think i can speak to takari's mind like this. *should we really trust him takari? his scent is safe, like you he is draconian but i dont trust him completely. we do owe him though so if you want to leave with him me and jara are going with you* i crossed my arms and continued to glare at tyson.
