Adele gave him a thoughtful expression.
"So why can't you be near it? Yeah it burns but it's very pleasant," she remarked as she cut the meat into pieces. She then took the water given and poured it into a pot afterwards transferring the vegetables into the pot. Taking off her thin jacket she used this as gloves to cover her hands as she moved the pan far to the side and set the pot with vegetables to boil on the "rack." She looked around the hearth and saw a black metal stick meant to move fire wood but she used this to stir the vegetables as they came to a slow boil.

I have a more than natural body heat but the fire doesn't burn me bedies if i stuck my fingures in it" I said sitting down by it. "Also thank you both... your the only ones who have stuck by me" I said looking at both of them.

Atra smiled at Elizabeth. "You know if you turn into a puppy then do a puppy eyed look or actually if you do the puppy eyed look people are more compliment into helping you." He says warmly. "I have no tolerance to heat really, the hotter it is.. well I have a lot of problems with my body always creating heat.... I can survive in the arctic quite well but in the desert, I'll be dead within a minute." Atra took a while as he fiddled with a complicated looking part and then gets it. "And someone has to stand by you some time Elizabeth, just happens to be us."

"Well... maybe" I said pondering the thought of some one sticking by me. "Actualy it had never occoured to me I just thought it was better any way I hate it if people try to risk there own lifes to save my own." I said.

He gives a nod. "Same here but I am more or less up for fighting if a friends in danger getting a few bumps and buries aren't to much of a worry." He set another completed armament down on the table as he slowly picked at a bit of raw meat he had not seeming to be cooked.

He looks to Adele. "Well need to get some fortifications up while I set up traps and verouis other things in that nature." He then motioned to the already assubed what looked like machine guns. "Take your pick."

"Umm im sorry i dont use guns or carry one but I do have a few tricks of my own" I said taking out a hidden blade and some bombs of my necklace that looked like jewles. "I make my own bombs and weapons This blade is bone" I said showing him the blade. Then I took out a wipp with barbs in it and said "This is the last I have the barbs are posinous so..." I said shrugging.

He nods taking the two sword hilts concealed down in his lower back showing her both of them each with an incantation. "My most efficient weapons." he then places them back. "I have twelve throwing weapons which I am also good at." He would have the guns ready only taking two pistols leaving the rest for their picking.

"Nice I like my wip its most efective for me" I told him. I spun my wip around my fingure. "You know what would be fun if you and I fight. Not to hurt or kill just practice" I said shrugging.

He nods. "Would have to be without the weapons and all as I am trained to really kill more then any thing and its an instant of mine that I do such a thing.... mostly with my hands I subdue.. and then." he trails off. "Unless something angers me."

Adele's eyes lit up with excitement with the recognition of guns.
"Ooh..my favorite!" she exclaimed as she pulled one almost as long as her arm, she weighed it and then set it at her side as if she was always meant to wield a gun.
She listened to Atra's plans and smiled rolling her eyes. "Howabout we do that after we eat? Setting up defenses and traps takes energy, let's eat so we can refuel ourselves, eh?" she suggested kindly. "Foods done anyway."
She took out the pan with meat and the pot with vegetables and set them on the floor to cool.

Atra looked to the cooked food with a little smile. "Little over done and some of the veg's might be a bit mushy." he moved to his bag taking out what looked to be a raw stake and starting to eat it it might be juicy but her collected what dropped in a plate having a knife and fork to eat it with. "I think maybe its time I show you what I can do exactly." he looks to Adele. "Its like Blakes..... one but different in a way." he would still be eating what food he had.

She shrugged laughing. "I never said I was the best cook." Then paid closer attention as he began to eat, hanging onto whatever word he said. She though back to Blake, how madly he had torn the wall away to get to her. She had thought it was man only to come to discover it was a mad shape shifter, bent on killing her for flesh. She remembered his cold eyes glaring up at her in the trees, she was sure she would be haunted in her dreams.
Adele silently gathered her food on a plate eating with her hands, forgetting about manners. She was so hungry it was wonderful to taste meat to feel it's juices sweeten on her tongue but she told herself to eat slow.
"What can you do? You don't have to change you need to eat, but you can just tell me," she said.

Atra shook his head. "Actually I need to go into it and take a little sniff around mark the territory around the house to warn other creatures off so they don't come here that way if something comes then we know that we need to protect Elizabeth." He gave a small smile. "Besides I need to eat more then this meat and my form does a better job. He slowly let the metamorphosis begins his cloths fall away as if gliding off his body and onto the floor he hunches over being a graceful transformation, his bones reform and his skin starts to sprout hear in the time it takes for his arms to hit the ground he would be a fully fledged wolf standing on four legs his eyes a goldensih color.

Still recovering from the previous trauma with Blake it shocked her to see another large wolf but his appearance was kind and Adele continued to remind herself she was among friends, Atra was someone she could trust. She paused on eating merely staring before she caught herself and went to scoop for a couple more vegetables.
"Do what you need to do," she said dismissively as she huddled closer to the fire feeling suddenly cold.

He saw as she made for the comfort of the warmth. "Its not be you have to worry about." he said in a warm tone keeping his head low he'd seek to have her touch him as he very gently nuzzles at her hand being careful not to make her spill anything on the ground. "Touch pat and stroke.. I'm not gonna hurt you, I'm like Bane in appearance but at the same time I'm not like he is mentally." I sat down.

Hesitant as she watched the wolf near her, Adele remained motionless for a few moments not even daring to touch the wolf. She wouldn't risk her hand to be bitten off. She hadn't ever felt an animal's fur before and although her curiosity tingled for her to do so but she bit back. She laughed as the wolf tried to gain her trust.
"You already have my trust Atra, I'm okay," she said leaning against the warm wall near the fire.

Atra would try go closer but as he does he would wince and whining as he quickly moves back it appears he was not kidding about the burning as he came to close. He started to lick at his leg to try get the burning sensation to subdue it self. "I just wanted to make you less afraid of what I am."

Feeling guilty she tried to cover it up by putting up her usual tough front. She got down to his eye level scooting slowly away from the fire.
"I'm not afraid of what you are. See?" Then, tentatively and hoping she wouldn't regret her decision she reached out and gently threaded through his fur on his head, feeling the coarse fur run through her fingers easily.
Thick on top but almost like silk near the roots. She felt his head remaining careful as she fought back the urge to stay near the fire where she knew she was safe, but she had been taught all her life to not succumb to fear. Adele wouldn't let it get the best of her today nor any other day. Images of the snarling Blake flared in her head but she told herself to trust this shape shifter and the one behind her as well. She was safe now. Safe. Everything was okay.

Atra would move his head up better to let her rub not making any hostile of sudden movements even licking her forearm out of instant. "Sorry some time I have the urge in more of the affectional sence then any other, I have complete control of my animal side." He then focus on the irritation leting the skin slowly regenerate his breathing being a little in differed. his fur would be soft and he'd be abnormally warm as if he had been sitting by the fire to long and to close. "Just be careful about where you scratch my foot might start thudding."

Adele laughed as she pulled her hand away. "I may keep that in mind."
She smiled, a blush coming to her cheeks. "Do you need help scouting?"

Atra shook his head. "Acutally no by marking and... sniff my terroitry I ment like really marking it like a wolf would and then move along making a strong scented circle around the place. and cover up Elizabeth's tracks... if you could comfort her though I'd be great full and maybe start a little bit on getting some of the wood from down here into the upper rooms so we can get on fortifications." He then stood to his full height but slightly slouched over. "Surprised my tail hasn't started wagging that thing has a mind of its own I swear."

Adele laughed once more as she patted his head. "Then get to work wolf-boy." She glanced over to Elizabeth and grinned, eyes sparkling as she reached for the gun, slinging it over the strap over her shoulders as she stood straight.
"You heard the man girlie, eat up and let's get rolling. Best to save the rest for dinner anyway.."

I laughed and eat what little food I could. "You guys are both saying you need to protect me I dont need protection just alittle help do you both not know what I am you dont think I couldn't handle some of them" I said with a laugh. I asked adele "Have you ever used a gun hun." I tilted my head to the side like a wolf would witch is also my favorite form. "Oh hey you guys what can I do" I asked thinking of how useless i've been.
